A binding agreement governing your use of Prepared Travel. Please review the important summary below before reading the full Terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Prepared Travel ("Prepared Travel," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Prepared Travel website, digital tools, software systems, travel consultation services, AI-generated outputs, physical products, and related offerings (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing, purchasing, or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Services.
If using the Services on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the minor's legal parent or guardian and accept full responsibility for all use and consequences.
Prepared Travel provides communication tools and travel-related informational services, including but not limited to:
Prepared Travel is not a medical provider and is not a licensed travel agency unless expressly stated in writing. All Services are informational and advisory only.
The Services are informational communication tools only. They are not intended to diagnose, prevent, treat, cure, or manage any medical condition, including food allergies or dietary sensitivities.
You are solely responsible for consulting qualified healthcare professionals regarding allergy management and medical decisions. The Services are not a substitute for carrying emergency medication or seeking immediate medical attention. In a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your use of and reliance upon the Services.
Travel recommendations and AI-generated itineraries are advisory only and are not guarantees. Prepared Travel does not control airlines, hotels, restaurants, or other travel providers.
Destination intelligence reports and related outputs are informational only and do not guarantee safety, accuracy, or completeness. They reflect conditions as understood at time of publication and may change without notice. You are responsible for verifying information independently before and during travel.
Travel inherently involves risk, including delays, cancellations, illness, cross-contact, and third-party negligence. All travel decisions remain solely your responsibility.
Physical products are custom-produced. Production and shipping timelines are estimates only. Digital products are deemed delivered when electronically accessible. Prepared Travel is not responsible for delays beyond reasonable control.
Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). Prepared Travel does not store full credit card numbers. We may retain transaction identifiers and tokenized payment references for fraud prevention, analytics, recordkeeping, and customer support.
By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable processor to charge your payment method.
If a physical product is materially defective due solely to manufacturing error, we may provide a replacement at our discretion. To request a replacement, contact justin@prepared.travel with your order number and a description of the defect.
Prepared Travel may create user profiles for order management, personalization, analytics, and fraud prevention. Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes data practices and any rights available under laws such as the CCPA, CPRA, or GDPR where applicable.
All intellectual property associated with the Services is owned exclusively by Prepared Travel or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only.
Reverse engineering, redistribution, resale, or competitive use is prohibited. The allergy card output files generated for your personal allergy profile are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use — including sharing with restaurants, schools, hotels, and medical personnel for allergy communication purposes.
These Terms are solely between you and Prepared Travel. No third party has any rights under these Terms.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPARED TRAVEL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPARED TRAVEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ALLERGIC REACTIONS, MEDICAL EVENTS, PERSONAL INJURY, TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS, LOST PROFITS, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS.
TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prepared Travel and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
Prepared Travel may assume exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute regarding the interpretation or enforceability of this arbitration agreement.
You may opt out of arbitration within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms by written notice to justin@prepared.travel.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Survival. The following provisions survive termination of these Terms: Medical Disclaimer, Assumption of Risk, Refund Policy, Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Arbitration.
Force Majeure. Prepared Travel is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, or failures of third-party services.
Modifications. Prepared Travel may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
